From 4-7th April the ALF Forum in Marseille brought together youth leaders and civil society organisations with influential policy-makers and intercultural experts from across the Euro-Mediterranean region. The event built on the previous ALF Forum in Barcelona in 2010 as well as the collected work of the Foundation and network members during the last three years. Our goal was to provide an innovative and participative space for debate, networking and good practice exchange.
 

 
In the new Mediterranean context, following the historic Arab Awakening and the social impact of the economic crisis in Europe, the 2013 Forum was a landmark event for re-launching dialogue at the regional level, to address the major challenges and opportunities which face our societies, and for promoting civic participation.
